Creating a character for role play isn't hard if you understand the rules of the role play you are creating it for. You need to know the limits to the character the gamemaster (the owner of the Rp) has set for the Rp. For example if the game master limits you to powered humans and non humans they usually mean character with moderate amounts of powers or strength. You could play a god if you wish however you wouldn't be the all mighty. You would only be able to use a fraction of you full power. On the other hand if there are no limits you can go balls to the walls with your character and make him as strong as you want. Usual character bios something like the following:
Name: Race: Size: Abilities Weaknesses: Summary of why he is where he is: Story of his life and how he became who he is:
This is a basic character template to get you started. There are several other fields to. Can elaborate on and make it as detailed as possible depending on your desire to write.
